The Universal Gift Shop
In 2007, John introduced us to the Universal Gift Shop and the idea of claiming our heart's desire - even if we had 20,000 heart's desires!
The idea of course being that since the Universe is unconditional in what it offers then it is up to us to be the same for ourselves. That being the case we are not being greedy or selfish in our claim, providing us countless opportunities to learn and grow from positive experiences.
As John cautioned at the time what you claim will occur if you know and accept that it will. Some people thought they could just claim what they wanted and were disappointed that it did not occur. If you do not believe you deserve something no claim will produce it because your underlying belief will always triumph.
For example, I am now in my sixties and no amount of claiming will make me thirty again because I do not believe I can literally turn the clock back. Claiming something that you know is impossible on whatever level will always prove defeating. Use this energy to claim what you know you already are and wish to be more of and it becomes much easier.
In the Seven Spiritual Truths course that is what participants are beginning to recognise and in turn to resolve. Ignoring that which is uncomfortable will not heal it or change it. Focussing on what is the truth you wish to celebrate however will enable the underlying thought process to change.)
